Community Guidelines

InGiro is for adults who want to meet people nearby, whether that's a new friend, someone to share an activity with, or a date. These guidelines apply in every mode, in profiles, messages, requests and when you meet in person. Breaking them can get content removed or an account suspended or closed. They're part of our Terms of Service.

Be yourself

• 18+ only. Everyone on InGiro must be an adult. Report anyone who seems to be under 18.
• Real you, real photos. Use recent photos of yourself. No celebrities, stolen photos or images of other people pretending to be you.
• One person, one account. No shared, fake or duplicate accounts.
• Be honest about what you're open to. Friends means friends. If you're only looking for a date, use Dating.

Be respectful

• No harassment or bullying. No threats, insults, stalking, or repeated messages to someone who isn't interested. A decline, a pass or no reply is an answer.
• No hate. No content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
• Respect the mode. Don't send romantic or sexual messages to people you met in Friends or Activities.
• Consent matters. Never send sexual content to anyone who hasn't clearly asked for it.

Keep it safe

• No nudity or sexual content in photos, prompts or chat photos.
• Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material or any sexualization of minors. We remove it, close the accounts involved and report it to the authorities.
• No violence or threats, and no content that promotes self-harm, terrorism or dangerous acts.
• No illegal activity, including selling drugs or weapons.
• Protect privacy. Don't share anyone's personal information, private photos or messages without their permission, and don't try to find out where someone lives or exactly where they are.

No spam or scams

• No advertising, promotions, recruiting, or links to sell something.
• No asking for money, gifts, investments, crypto or financial help, for any reason.
• No sex work, escorting or paid companionship.
• No bots, scraping or automated messages.

Report and block

If someone breaks these guidelines or makes you uncomfortable, block or report them from their profile or your chat. Reports are confidential: we don't tell the person who reported them. Our team reviews reports and decides what to do, from removing content to closing the account. If you're in danger, call 911 first.
